Neethane En Ponvasantham online Tamil Movie Review

Produced by Photon Kathaas and RS Infotainment, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Neethane En Ponvasantham is a love story (or as the director cleverly puts it across – moments from Varun-Nithya’s love story). With excellent acting, fantastic music, pleasing-on-the-eye cinematography, Neethane En Ponvasantham is a great case study of sum being lesser than the parts. The film starts off when Varun joins college and he meets Nithya in the college culturals. They share a history of love-hate relationship. First, they meet when they were kids and then when they were in school. Sparks fly when they meet duing college and they are together for the next four years. The film tries to capture some interesting moments in their lives. Unfortunately, only some of the moments are engaging.

Dir Shankar announces his next film!

Shankar has finally put an end to all ifs and buts about his next project. Well, the maverick director has revealed that his forthcoming movie will starVikram-Samantha and it has been titled ‘I', which is a romantic thriller. The movie will take off in mid-July.

"It's been a while... was busy with the pre-production of my next film, which I've titled ‘ஐ'. In Tamil ‘I' means beauty, king, guru, astonishment, vulnerability (softness/gentleness) etc.," The movie also features comedian Santhanam, Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi, Ramkumar (Nadigar Thilakam Sivaji Ganesan's eldest son) and others," Shankar writes in his blog.

While Oscar Award winner AR Rahman will compose the music, PC Sriram will handle the camera. The interesting part of the story is that some of the well-known technicians from Hollywood are working in this project.

Shankar adds, "Costume designer of Men in Black series Mary Vogt is designing special costumes. Peter Ming of China and our own Anal Arasu will provide the daredevil stunts. Australian Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) who mesmerized us in the Harry Potter series are in charge of the VFX, and will be supervised by Srinivas.M.Mohan. Art Director Muthuraj and Editor Antony also make my team yet another time..."

The movie produced by Aascar Ravichandran, who had earlier worked with Shankar in Anniyan, has write duo Suba's dialogues. Recently, a song written by Kabilan and sung by Vijay Prakash was recorded recently.
