Doctor turned Actor Power Star Dr. S.Srinivasan, aka Lathika Srinivasan, hits the screen with his new venture Anandha Thollai, written and directed by Balu Anand whose previous ventures like Naane Raja Naane Mandhiri and Anna Nagar Mudhal Theru.
Anandha Thollai is produced by Powerstar Dr. Srinivasan's wife S. Thuriya under their home banner Baba Cine Combines. Newcomers Rajkumar and Arshika are in the lead roles. Lathika Srinivasan plays the negative role in this movie.
Poonthota Kavalkaran fame Vani Viswanath, who is very famous for smashing stereotyped female roles, is casted opposite Dr. Srinivasan. Sriman, Senthil, Vaiyapuri, Anumohan and Nellai Siva are also casted. Dr. Srinivasan's wife Thuriya, who is producing the movie, is also playing a supporting role.
Anandha Thollai is said to revolve around a friend who is ready to sacrifice his son for the sake of friendship. Powerstar Dr. S.Srinivasan says that he has taken many risks for the stunt sequences in this movie, and that he is ready to take any risk for the tamil movie industry.
Bretty J David handles the camera and Music is composed by A. J. Ali Mirsa. V. M. Udhaya Shankar is in charge of the editing while Suresh Kalleri has done the Art Direction. Stunts in this movie are choreographed by Thalapathi Dinesh.
Anandha Thollai was scheduled to be released diwali 2012.
But powerstar tweeted it is not releasing (GOD SAVED TAMIL CINEMA FROM DIWALI)
