UTV and Avni Max’s joint production venture Kalakalappu @ Masala Cafe has received a positive response from the celebs and their families. A special premiere show was held in Chennai recently for the celebrities and their families and all those who have seen the film had positive reviews to share.
Kalakalappu is a complete comedy entertainer with Mirchi Shiva and Santhanam taking complete care of creating a laugh riot along with the other stars. Director Sundar C has proved his mettle as a director skilled in handling comedy ventures; say some of the celebs who watched the film.
Singer Krish and actor and MP JK Ritheesh praised the film to no end for the comedy content and several directors and actors have extended their wishes for its successful run at the box office.

The maker of enormous hilarious entertainers is back with Kalakalappu starring Vimal, Mirchi Shiva,Anjali and Oviya in lead roles with Santhanam playing a humorous villain.
Every big thing starts off with a spark and so is Kalakalappu, but with a much difference. SaysSundar C: ‘While shooting for Murattu Kaalai, I met with an accident and was bed-ridden for 6 months and that’s when, starting working on the script of Kalakalappu. I am so thankful to UTV Motion Pictures for rendering great help by means with their non-interference.’
